Steven Grubman Graham, CEO
Mr. Graham is the CEO of S&E Specialty Polymers LLC. The company was formed in 2005 with the acquisition of Gitto Global Corp. and the intellectual property of Lynn Products Corp. Mr. Graham has nearly 30 years experience in plastics manufacturing. After initially working for Monsanto Chemical in Springfield, MA, he founded an extrusion company, Toner Plastics Inc. in 1989. Toner sells branded craft products directly to national retailers and counts Wal-Mart, Michaels Stores, and Joann’s as long term customers. The company also supplies custom flexible and semi rigid extrusions to other manufacturers in a variety of industries.
Mr. Graham is a 1978 graduate of Princeton University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He is an avid supporter of education and a past board member of the national Epilepsy Foundation.
Eric Grubman, Board of Directors
Eric Grubman is an Executive Vice President of the National Football League and the President of NFL Ventures Inc. overseeing League business activities in the areas of Sponsorship, Marketing, Events, International and Licensing. He is also responsible for Human Resources and Information Technology. He joined the NFL in May, 2004.
Mr. Grubman is a former Partner and Managing Director of Goldman, Sachs & Company. He is also former co-president of Constellation Energy Group, a Fortune 500 company located in Baltimore, Maryland. While at Goldman, Mr. Grubman was a Mergers & Acquisitions specialist. In 1996, he became co-head of the Energy Group and also spearheaded advisory activities for professional sports.
Mr. Grubman graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1980 and then served in the nuclear submarine service aboard USS Boston, SSN703. Following active duty, he earned an MBA at the Harvard Business School in 1987. He serves on the Board of the United States Naval Academy Foundation, and he is a director of Noble Energy Inc.
Wallace Grubman Graham, Board of Directors
Mr. Graham, now deceased, was a retired international Chemical company executive. His lengthy career included the Chairman and CEO positions at National Starch and Chemical Corporation, Group Head worldwide of Specialty Chemicals and an Executive Director of Unilever plc and Unilever NV. He was also a non executive Director of Courtaulds plc. and President of Ridge Associates, a Management Consulting company.
Mr. Graham was a graduate of Columbia University with a BS Chemical Engineering in 1950 and MS in Chemical Engineering from New York University in 1954. He is fondly remembered by his family, friends and colleagues.
Duane Shooltz, President & Senior Managing Partner
Mr. Shooltz, President & COO of S&E Specialty Polymers, joined the company in 2008. Prior to this Mr. Shooltz held senior management position supporting sales, purchasing, operations, and most recently divisional responsibility for Gastite, a member of the Smith PLC.
With over 30 years of experience with multinational manufacturing companies, Mr. Shooltz draws from his experiences in Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial, Distribution and the Construction Industries. He is a graduate of Ferris State University School of Business.
In addition to his years of service supporting manufacturing on a global basis, Mr. Shooltz has dedicated himself to his family. He is an avid supporter of charities focused on childhood abuse and neglect.
Ilia Charlat, Managing Partner
Mr. Charlat, VP of R&D and Technical Sales, started his career in 1993 as a laboratory technician at Gitto Global Corp., which was acquired by S&E Specialty Polymers in 2005. With his direct involvement, S&E Specialty Polymers became an active player in several markets, including Specialty Wire and Cable (Plenum, CPE, FR TPE/TPO). The company has also developed one of the most complete lines of FR polyolefin compounds, including Zero Halogen systems and replacements for Glass Fiber Reinforcement PP alloys, etc.
Mr. Charlat is a strong believer in specialty custom compounding, which includes providing tolling services to customers as well as development of a wide variety of cost effective masterbatches and concentrates.
Mr. Charlat is a 1992 graduate of Moscow University of Chemical Technologies (D.I. Mendeleev).
